Today: President of Traveler Guitar to speak at Surado® Distinguished Entrepreneur Lecture Series
The Surado Distinguished Entrepreneur Lecture Series is presented by Cal State San Bernardino's Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship.

SAN BERNARDINO, California – February 21, 2008 - J. Corey Oliver, president and CEO of Traveler Guitar, will talk about his music industry-leading company and relate how a non-musician can survive in the music business today, Thursday, Feb. 21, at Cal State San Bernardino.  The Surado® Distinguished Entrepreneur Lecture Series is made possible through the generous support of Surado Solutions Inc., the emerging innovator in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for small to medium sized enterprises.

Oliver is the featured speaker for the Surado® Distinguished Entrepreneur Lecture Series, to be presented by Cal State San Bernardino's Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship. The lecture, which is at 5 p.m. in Room 287 at Jack Brown Hall, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served and door prizes given away.

Redlands-based Traveler Guitar has grown from its humble beginnings in the back of a small guitar store to a multi-million dollar business that is the leading producer of travel guitars in the industry. Through perseverance, impeccable customer relations and an adherence to quality, Oliver and his team have built a worldwide brand.

During his talk Oliver will offer his tips for entrepreneurial success and share how he and his team built the music industry's leader in travel guitars, whose users include Stevie Wonder, Bono and The Edge from U2, Andy Summers (The Police), John Fogerty (Creedence Clearwater Revival) and Jon Anderson (Yes) as well as rock's new crew including players from Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan, Our Lady Peace, No Doubt and Matchbox 20.

Traveler Guitars can be purchased here in the United States at numerous music retailers as well as from dealers in Canada, Mexico, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Australia, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom.
