Surado employees turn off their high-tech gadgets for personal interaction with residents of Brookside Healthcare Center.

Surado’s Annual Community Event provides residents of Brookside a day of fun activities.

Riverside, CA, October 15, 2007 - Surado Solutions, the emerging innovator in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for small to medium sized enterprises, tuned away from software and technology on October 13, 2007 to devote a day dedicated to giving back to the community.

This year’s event was coordinated through Brookside Healthcare Center in Redlands, California, a licensed 97-bed skilled nursing facility which provides a comfortable and nurturing place for all residents, whether they are there for short term treatment or long-term care.

Surado employees, families and friends brought cheer to the residents with a variety of activities which included one on one interaction, playing musical instruments, showing movies, playing games, barbecue and serving delicious home made food.  The day ended after a “Walk & Roll” stroll to the nearby park and the presentation of “gift baskets of goodies” for residents.

“It is companies like yours and people like you that help make Brookside what we strive to be.  As you probably know, long term care has a pretty bad reputation.  Our goal is, ‘Through moments of truth we will dignify long term care in the eyes of the world’.  What you all did Saturday was a huge moment of truth.  It’s that interaction with our residents that leave them a little better, less anxious, and more loved.  Many of our residents are in the last stage of their lives. Every person deserves and desires to feel loved, informed, and included.  It is our mission to provide that to them in a new and different way that exceeds their expectations.  I wish that more companies shared Surado Solutions, Inc.’s philosophy and willingness to do more than talk about making a difference.  You are rare and wonderful!  Thanks for serving our residents, improving their lives and the lives of the staff at Brookside Healthcare Center,” said Gary Little, Brookside Administrator.

Past Surado volunteer projects have ranged from Habitat for Humanity Projects to tutoring at-risk youth through The Coalition for Common Grounds "Cops and Clergy" Program, to reading to children in the Pediatric Ward at Loma Linda University Medical Center to renovating a home through Hands-On Riverside County to Graffiti Eradication in the City of Riverside to spending a day at Ronald McDonald House of Charities.

"It truly was a satisfying experience for all of us.  Being able to touch the lives of the residents brought an internal sense of joy and happiness.  Many of our employees actively engage in various community services but the Surado Community Day provides us with an opportunity to give back as a team,” said Sundip R.
